Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a relevant background in property or valuation, with experience in property negotiation and acquisition, portfolio management and some knowledge of other approvals such as Kiwirail Deeds of Grant and resource consents.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage property rights and approvals necessary for infrastructure projects.
  2. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, councils, iwi/hapu, and other interest groups.
  3. Provide property and consenting advice to the business, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry requirements.
  4. Support the Property & Consents team's strategic goals and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Rlevant background or qualification in property or valuation.
  • Experience in property negotiation and acquisition, portfolio management and some knowledge of other approvals.
  • Knowledge of utilities industry and regulatory requirements related to property and consenting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
