About the Role
This Community Resilience Coordinator position plays a critical role in supporting communities to develop and implement disaster preparedness strategies. The successful candidate will contribute to emergency management activities, including planning, response, and recovery efforts.
Responsibilities
- Support communities in reducing disaster risks through education and awareness initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of community response plans and procedures.
- Deliver public education programmes to enhance community resilience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen links between CDEM and communities.
- Support the delivery of CDEM training and capacity-building initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of guidance and tools to support work programmes.
