Mitre 10 Wellington Central is seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to lead our retail floor and drive sales growth. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will report directly to the Managing Director and play a vital role in shaping the future of our business.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Mitre 10 Wellington Central. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the retail floor, driving sales growth, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 45 hours per week, Tuesday- Saturday or Sunday-Thursday. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will contribute to strategic planning, implement operational improvements, and drive sales growth.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the retail floor team, providing coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve customer engagement.
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained and inventory management is optimized.
  • Drive sales growth through effective customer service and loyalty programs.

Requirements And Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience leading teams in a big box retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and innovation, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
