**Job Description**

This Clinical Support Specialist position is available at the Dunstan Hospital/Frankton location within the Southern District Health Board. The successful candidate will work as a case manager providing assessment, treatment, and coordination services to patients and their families.

About the Role:

  • Work autonomously as well as within a multidisciplinary team
  • Liaise effectively with relevant health care professionals, managers, and organisations
  • Be self-motivated, innovative, and an effective problem solver
  • Empathetic with patients and their families/whanau

Requirements:

  • Relevant mental health experience
  • Experience in working with young people experiencing mental health issues
  • Hold current registration and an annual practising certificate as an Allied Health Professional (Social Worker, Occupational Therapist)
  • Commitment to maintain social work standards and ethics
  • Hold a current APC and Registration with the Social Workers Board of New Zealand
  • A full and clean NZ driver's license

Benefits:

  • Salary band – $77,087 - $107,600 p.a. pro-rata + Kiwisaver
  • Permanent, Full-time (1.0 FTE 40hrs per week) opportunity
