**Role Overview**

This Senior Water Supply Engineer/ Network Planner/ Modeller plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of safe and healthy drinking water to our communities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Drinking water hydraulic modelling and experience in project management.

**Key Responsibilities**

This role involves:

  • Developing, maintaining, and operating Drinking Water hydraulic models
  • Contributing to the development of operations and capex proposals
  • Conducting thorough technical reviews (peer review) of outsourced model build projects and master planning studies
  • Utilising calibrated hydraulic models to assess network performance against levels of service
  • Project managing external model build contracts

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (for example, Civil or Environmental Engineering)
  • Ideal 10+ years' experience in Drinking water hydraulic modelling
  • Modelling project management experience
  • A continuous improvement mindset with strong data analytics skills
  • Proven ability to innovate and implement new modelling techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring
