Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mental Health Assistant to join our team at Wofo. This role plays a crucial part in supporting patients facing mental health challenges while working in hospital settings. The ideal candidate will possess empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to patients while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Support patients in their daily activities and promote emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with mental health teams to provide tailored patient care.
- Assist with documentation and observe patients for any behavioral changes.
Requirements:
- Certificate or relevant experience in mental health care (preferred).
- Able to remain calm and focused in challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
