About the Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance for an experienced nurse to expand their clinical trial skills in a vibrant and fast-paced setting. You will be working closely with patients, staff, and other relevant parties to ensure the success of the Fisher and Paykel wound oxygen study.

Key Tasks

  1. Ensuring all research activities meet legislative and clinical trial requirements
  2. Liaising with patients, staff, and other relevant parties
  3. Recruiting patients for selected trials
  4. Providing education and support to staff regarding the specifics of selected trials
  5. Maintaining trial data requirements including coordinating patient tests and appointments

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand
  • The demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • The ability to be adaptable, flexible, and solution-focused
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft computer applications including word processing and excel
  • Relevant experience such as working within oncology, or with clinical/commercial trials
