About the role- Assist in improving client health and reducing health inequalities and clinical risk for service users with identified high risk and complex health needs.
- Providing consultancy, clinical leadership, and skilled advanced nursing practice.
- Actively work on strengthening partnerships/alliances with internal and external stakeholders.
- Development of alternative models of care.
- Demonstrate advanced nursing leadership and mentorship.
- Deliver on the objectives of the national health strategy.
- Collaborate with and work under the guidance of the Neonatal SMO team.
- Contribute to the research agenda within the neonatal service.

- Be a Neonatal trained Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability to successfully engage and empathise with families/whānau in a positive manner.
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of NZ Health strategies.

Salary rangeThis role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between ($136,815 p.a) and ($162,802 p.a pro rata) of the Nurse Practitioners Scale.
