We are seeking a skilled Corrections Officer to join our team at Whanganui Prison, where you will play a vital part in shaping the futures of those in our care.
In this challenging and rewarding role, you will influence offenders to make positive changes in their lives, support them towards an offence-free lifestyle, and work effectively in a team environment.
You will be required to work shifts on a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
We offer comprehensive training and development opportunities, including a one-week induction, 5 weeks of training at our National Training Centre, and ongoing professional practice and development support.
Our starting salary is $67,519, with opportunities for career progression and increased salary levels.
