Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential trusts and foundations that align with Mercy Hospice's mission and strategic goals.
  • Prepare high-quality grant proposals that meet the priorities and guidelines of each funder.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with trust and foundation representatives, providing regular updates and progress reports.
  • Monitor and manage the administration of grants, including tracking funds and ensuring compliance with grant terms.
  • Plan and maintain the annual grants calendar, analysing trends and feedback and providing reporting on grants activity and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with grant management software or CRM systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting in the context of grant management.
