The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Psychiatrist to join our Canterbury Regional Forensic Mental Health Service. As part of this team, you will work closely with colleagues to assess, diagnose, and treat patients in hospital, outpatient, and community settings, including liaison with courts and corrections facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and experience working with forensic populations. They will be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Additionally, they must be able to maintain accurate records and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
