**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical guidance and support to our nursing staff, with a focus on patient assessment and communication.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices, and provide education and training to our staff. You will also be involved in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to nursing staff
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' acute clinical experience in a NZ hospital setting
  • Advanced paediatric life support training
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and assessment skills
  • Able to work in a complex changing environment and manage multiple competing priorities
