**Role Description**

New Zealand Government is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Physiotherapist to work in the Midlands region, based at Waikato Hospital. This part-time, fixed-term role involves delivering services to patients and requires strong communication skills and adaptability.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering quality physiotherapy care to promote health, wellbeing, and independence for patients and their whanau. They will work independently and collaboratively as part of the physiotherapy and wider multi-disciplinary team.

About the Team

We have approximately 90 staff working across various geographical areas. Our team is committed to providing equitable, efficient, and effective physiotherapy care, and we pride ourselves on being a friendly and supportive team who are keen to grow and develop our staff.

About You

We are looking for a physiotherapist with:

  • NZ registration and a current annual practising certificate
  • A valid full New Zealand drivers' licence
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of the physiotherapy and wider multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients, their whanau, and other healthcare professionals
  • Experience providing physiotherapy in a pelvic health outpatient setting (desired)
