The OpportunityWe are seeking a versatile individual to join our Asia Pacific team, based in Auckland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your client relationship management expertise and insurance knowledge while working closely with a diverse and close-knit team.
Aon Inpoint plays a key role in crafting the future of the insurance industry. We help clients navigate the constantly evolving market environment to drive profitable and sustainable growth and business results.
Key Responsibilities:- Handling and growing a portfolio of global and local re/insurance clients based in the Pacific region
- Developing deep and sustainable relationships with C-Suite client executives and other critical team members
- Engaging with clients to identify their strategic needs and priorities and develop potential solutions
- Manage delivery of agreed services in line with associated metrics and scorecards
- Building and developing existing client relationships as well as proactively developing new relationships and business development opportunities
You will quickly and efficiently utilize an extensive global network of Aon colleagues, standard methodologies, and assets to generate compelling insights, analytics, and strategic solutions.
Leading, coaching, and supporting client delivery teams is also a key aspect of this role. You will build impactful teams, encourage a culture of development, and learning to nurture talent.
In addition, you will contribute to the growth of Aon Inpoint's brand development thought leadership, whitepapers, conferences, and presentations.
Requirements:- Candidates will have a graduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area
- Experience working in (re)insurance, broking or the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry (both local & global)
- Proven track record in large global / complex client management and relationship building
- Experienced in handling sophisticated collaborated networks across multiple time zones and geographies
- Strong presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Experienced at identifying growth opportunities and tailoring solutions to support
You should be able to articulate the strategic view with detailed arguments and action plans. Additionally, you must be able to act with conviction and be a people-influencer with both C-suite leaders and operational teams.
