Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologist to join our team in Hawke's Bay. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a specialist radiologist and be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work as part of a dynamic team servicing the Hawke's Bay population, including participating in daily, weekly, and monthly multidisciplinary meetings with various specialties involved.
  • To provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services using advanced radiology equipment, including 1.5T GE Excite HDI MRI, 3 ATL HD 5000 ultrasound machines, and a recently installed GET combo catheter and vascular laboratory with flat panel technology.
  • To contribute to ongoing education and professional development within the team, ensuring that all team members remain up-to-date with the latest medical imaging techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of five years' experience as a specialist radiologist.
  • Appropriate MD qualifications and registration from the Medical Council of New Zealand.
  • A high standard of clinical care, management, and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize activities and manage stress.
