Curriculum Development Lead

This position plays a critical role in supporting the development of high-quality teaching and learning programs in early learning settings, schools, and kura. As a key advisor, you will work closely with teachers, kaiako, and regional teams to ensure that curriculum design and implementation align with government priorities and improve learning outcomes for all students.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:
- Providing expert guidance on curriculum design and implementation to ensure alignment with government priorities and improved learning outcomes for all students.
- Developing and delivering training and professional development programs for teachers and kaiako to enhance their skills and knowledge in curriculum design and implementation.
- Collaborating with regional teams to deliver high-quality curriculum and assessment practices that meet the needs of all students.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Education or a related field, with a focus on curriculum design and implementation.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in education, with a proven track record in curriculum design, teaching, and learning.
- Strong expertise in Maori medium and kaupapa Maori teaching, with a deep understanding of Te Reo, tikanga, and matauranga Maori.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
