The Kaitakawaenga role serves as a vital bridge between the Court and Whakaorangia te Mana Tangata Service provider, justice sector agencies, and Maori whanau. As a champion for Whakaorangia te Mana Tangata, you will provide high-quality guidance, information, and pathways to empower Maori whanau in making informed decisions.
You will collaborate with lawyers, prosecutors, and other justice sector agencies to ensure better justice and wellbeing outcomes for Maori whanau. This position demands cultural competence and an ability to navigate the complexities of the Treaty of Waitangi.
We seek a skilled professional who can deliver accurate and professional services with pride and a spirit of service. Key skills include case management, relationship building, teamwork, and cultural awareness.
