Job Description

This position will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, providing expert clinical guidance and support to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients with complex mental health needs. You will work closely with other service providers to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote recovery and well-being.

  • Foster a culture of excellence in mental health care by promoting person-centered approaches and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including consumers, whānau, community groups, and other service providers.
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization, leveraging expertise to improve patient outcomes and staff capacity.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A medical degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., psychiatry, psychology).
  • Experience working in a senior leadership position within a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mental health policy, strategy, and service development.
