We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our community by providing person-centred care. As a Consultant Psychiatrist/Medical Officer, you will be part of a highly motivated team that provides support to clients aged 18 years and older.

The team draws on a diverse range of professional expertise, incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), dynamic therapies, family interventions, mindfulness, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) groups.

As part of our Community Mental Health team, you will enjoy the benefits of working in a community setting, collaborating with local primary schools to ensure the best outcomes for our community.

You'll be part of our team of 14 psychiatrists, working alongside a dedicated group of medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to provide care for individuals with complex needs.

In this role, you will offer consultant services to individuals in need of specialist care, interact and collaborate daily with other departments, and provide mentorship to junior medical staff assigned to the service.

  • Possess the ability to work in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community settings inclusive of crisis work
  • Participate in an on-call roster
