We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior College Administrator to join our team at New Zealand Tertiary College. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing administrative operations and supporting field practice stakeholders, ensuring the college's reputation is continually raised nationally and internationally.

This is a hybrid role, working from home and out of our Mt Wellington campus. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of teams and stakeholders, including students, Associate Teachers, centres, and lecturers.

Key Responsibilities Include

  1. Develop and maintain internal and external relationships with people, communities, and relevant organisations.

  2. Communicate with students, Associate Teachers, centres, and lecturers prior to and/or during every placement.

  3. Ensure all placement activities comply with Academic Regulation guidelines and maintain high standards of performance.

  4. Resolve InPlace access issues for students, lecturers, and Associate Teachers.

  5. Provide InPlace training for new Associate Teachers, students, and lecturers.

Administrative Functions

  1. Plan and book home centre and out-of-home centre placements for students on practicum.

  2. Record centre and practicum attendance.

  3. Coordinate the activities of the Administrators in the practicum team.

  4. Coordinate the Associate Teacher payment process.

  5. Manage access to ECELU for Associate Teachers and lecturers, keeping all information on InPlace current and accurate.

  6. Update the ECELU website.

  7. Maintain up-to-date records of new and existing Centre and AT list on InPlace.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role in the Education sector.

  • Depth of knowledge of Academic Regulation guidelines.

  • Familiarity with QMS, curriculum, and programme information and resources required.

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.

  • Proven ability to build long-lasting trusted relationships across diverse teams through clear, consistent, timely, and pragmatic communication.

  • High level of attention to detail in administrative record-keeping and data entry.

  • Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to changing needs of the organisation.

  • High level of learning agility.

  • Proven experience managing and meeting multiple deadlines.
