As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a vital role in driving our zero-harm culture and ensuring that all employees return home safely every day. You will partner with site leadership to identify and manage health and safety risks, championing programs and initiatives that promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement health and safety strategies that align with our company's values and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with site leadership to identify and manage health and safety risks, developing and implementing controls to mitigate these risks.
  3. Manage reporting processes, incident investigations, and ensure effective control measures to prevent incidents from recurring.
  4. Provide H&S oversight for contractor and construction activity on site.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a high-risk environment.
  • Formal qualification in occupational health and safety or related field.
  • Sound knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and its application in the workplace.
  • Proven experience in worker engagement, contractor management, incident management, training, risk management, and audit programs.
  • Strong relationship building, influencing, and problem resolution skills.
