Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Monitoring Manager to join our team at ANSTO. As a key member of our Nuclear Stewardship science management team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of our Environmental Monitoring Program. Your expertise will ensure that our monitoring service is fit for purpose, meets regulatory requirements, and demonstrates our ongoing compliance with our statutory duties and internal objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies to improve the performance of our environmental monitoring systems.* Ensure that our environmental monitoring assets and infrastructure are managed effectively through an asset management framework and improvement program.* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide authoritative advice on environmental monitoring and ensure that our monitoring service meets regulatory requirements and demonstrates our ongoing compliance with our statutory duties and internal objectives.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of environmental monitoring principles and practices, as well as experience in managing environmental programs. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working with a range of stakeholders, including internal and external experts, and will need to provide clear and concise advice on environmental monitoring matters.
