About The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and systems-savvy Human Resources Assistant to join our central People & Capability team in Rotorua. This fixed-term position will provide the ideal candidate with exposure to broader aspects of Human Resources and a chance to gain experience within a growing, values-driven organisation.

This varied and busy role will involve all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, preparing employment offers, and employee correspondence. You will also be responsible for coordinating the weekly payroll cycle, facilitating induction, and ensuring accurate and compliant files, systems, and reporting.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong administration, planning, and organisational skills, and be able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They will also have a true passion for people, relish a challenge, and thrive in an environment where they can implement positive change.
