We are looking for accomplished Linux plumbers who are passionate about Linux, know the plumbing of the OS inside and out, and are proficient with containerization, system debugging, and the likes. The successful candidate will engage customers during presales to gather requirements and explain our technology, elaborate solutions to be proposed to prospective clients, participate in the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux, convey market requirements to key stakeholders in our organization, and sometimes participate in the development or refining of generic solutions to unlock market potential.

As a customer advocate and a trusted advisor to Canonical, you will be both a customer advocate and a trusted advisor to us. You will be expected to be result-oriented, able to multi-task, have a personal drive to meet commitments, and be a humble learner and quick study. Although many projects can be done remotely, the successful candidate will be willing to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings, company events, and conferences.
