About the Role
">We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to lead our team of Public Health Nurses in the Taupo wider Waikato region. As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide leadership and management to a team of professionals dedicated to improving, promoting, and protecting public health.
">Key Responsibilities
">• Provide clinical expertise and knowledge of population health models, theory, and principles to inform team decisions and actions.
• Lead a collaborative, interdisciplinary team to achieve service delivery goals and objectives.
• Contribute to programmes of transformational change and service integration as part of the senior nursing team.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve public health outcomes and services.
About You
">To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in public health nursing, primary care, and/or community nursing. You will also possess excellent clinical assessment skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work in complex and stressful environments.
">Requirements
">• Registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and current Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Proficient PDRP portfolio or equivalent and commitment to ongoing development.
• At least five years' post-graduate nursing experience and proven previous senior leadership experience.
• Relevant post-graduate qualification or working towards one.
• Current full driver's license and authorized vaccinator status (or willingness to complete).
