Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineering - Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Transit & Rail team, you will lead the design and construction of large-scale projects.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing multiple projects as a PM for Environmental Assessments and Detailed Design Projects. Managing the approved scope, budget, and schedule are of utmost importance. You will lead the Design Team consisting of Engineers, Scientists, Planners, Coordinators, Schedulers, and other consultants.
Your Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Design Team consisting of Engineers, Scientists, Planners, Coordinators, Schedulers, and other consultants.
- Create innovative ideas and approaches to re-evaluate and improve our business.
- Promote and oversee our safety program and overall safety culture.
- Day-to-day project oversight and communication with the client and project team.
- Develop, track, update, forecast, and modify the project schedule and budget throughout all phases of the project.
- Review and track all contracts, invoices, and payments to all contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors.
- Provide leadership and oversight of our safety program, quality reviews, plan reviews, and inspections.
- Understand and assist in the negotiation of contracts of all parties to the project.
- Oversee approval of all invoices and change orders associated with the project.
- Evaluate, advise on, and assist in resolving disputes and claims.
- Regularly collaborate with colleagues in our multi-disciplined design office.
- Financial management of projects and resource allocation.
- Business development support and leading proposal development.
