As a key member of our Financial Markets Directorate, you will provide sound technical leadership across domestic markets, driving the day-to-day implementation of operational objectives. You will support the Manager with thought leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring others to support their ongoing ambitions.

You will play a key role in engaging with stakeholders and representing the team with integrity. Your expertise will be relied upon to resolve issues as they arise to achieve great outcomes for the organisation.

**Job Description**

This role requires an in-depth understanding of New Zealand financial markets and institutions. You will have extensive practical experience working in a commercial bank, asset manager, or official institution treasury or trading environment. Excellent communication and relationship management skills are essential, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.

A positive, collaborative approach and the desire to work across a complex organisation at a senior level are key requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sound technical leadership across domestic markets
  • Support the Manager with thought leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring
  • Engage with stakeholders and represent the team with integrity
  • Resolve issues as they arise to achieve great outcomes for the organisation

Requirements:
