About the Role
We are seeking a talented HIL Engineer to join our team at Syos Aerospace. As a HIL Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining high-fidelity test systems for our Unmanned Aerial, Ground, and Maritime Vehicles (UxVs).
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain HIL test benches for UxV system validation.
- Develop real-time models for vehicle dynamics, sensors, and actuators.
- Create automated test frameworks, logging, and analysis tools for validation.
- Interface with embedded controllers, sensors, and hardware peripherals for seamless simulation.
- Conduct regression, failure injection, and performance tests for autonomy and control software.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, Aerospace, Robotics, or related field).
- 3+ years in HIL/SIL testing for robotics, aerospace, automotive, or defense systems.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar for test automation.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, UDP, TCP/IP, RS232, PX4 MAVLink, ROS).
