The Role

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Evolve Rehabilitation in Palmerston North. As a key member of our residential facility, you will be responsible for supporting clients through their rehabilitation journey. This will involve carrying out client plans, empowering them to complete daily tasks, and reporting on their progress.

Your Responsibilities

  • Carry out client plans and support clients in achieving their goals
  • Empower clients to complete daily tasks with oversight, direct assistance, or prompting as required
  • Report on client progress and provide feedback to the Residential Team Leader
  • Contribute to the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the residential facility

Desired Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A polite and friendly manner with a focus on providing a positive experience for clients
  • A good command of the English language both in written and oral communication
  • A current first aid certificate
  • A clean and current full driver's license
  • The ability to make independent decisions and work effectively alongside others
  • Excellent self-management and time management skills
