About Us

Our pharmacy service is technologically innovative and we have introduced electronic medication management systems, including electronic Prescribing and Administration, Pyxis MedStations, eVitals, and eNotes. These systems support our commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position supporting services across our campus, undertaking operational tasks such as inpatient dispensing, compounding, and refilling of Pyxis MedStations. You will help deliver and maintain a safe and efficient medication supply service to our growing population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting inpatient dispensing, compounding, and refilling of Pyxis MedStations
  • Processing OPAT (Outpatient Antimicrobial Therapy) dispensing and biologic and cytotoxic infusions
  • Maintaining a safe and efficient medication supply service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a National Certificate in Pharmacy (Technician) issued by the NZ Qualifications Authority – Level 5
  • Have hospital pharmacy experience (training provided for the right person)
  • Be resourceful, organised, friendly, and motivated with a positive attitude and good sense of humour
