Pharmacy Technician Waitematā DistrictNorth Shore HospitalPermanent, full timeWe have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated and enthusiastic NZ qualified Pharmacy Technician (Level 5) to join our Dispensary and Medicine Distribution Team at North Shore Hospital.
We provide a patient-focussed and technologically-innovative pharmacy service.
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleAs a technician working for Health New Zealand, Waitematā District, you will be supporting services across the campus, undertaking a wide variety of operational tasks, including but not limited to inpatient dispensing, compounding and refilling of Pyxis MedStations.
There will also be OPAT (Outpatient Antimicrobial Therapy) dispensing and some processing of biologic and cytotoxic infusions.
You will help to deliver and maintain a safe and efficient medication supply service to our growing population.
This is a full time permanent position, working 40 hours per week spread over a Monday-Friday roster with occasional rostered Saturdays or Sundays and public holiday involvement at our North Shore Hospital site.You will demonstrate the values of Te Whatu Ora Waitematā Pharmacy team.
