The role of Kaiarohi / AOD Practitioner is crucial in achieving our goal. As a dedicated professional, you will work directly with whanau to empower them on their path to wellness, providing tools, resources and guidance to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

We are seeking two highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our Te Whare Rauangi team. The ideal candidate will have lived or work experience in AOD within Maori and Pasifika Communities, as well as a deep understanding of Te Ao Maori and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

In this role, you will:

  • Work collaboratively with whanau to develop creative solutions to overcome challenges
  • Provide culturally appropriate practices, including accessing Rongoa and other traditional healing modalities
  • Empower and motivate people to reflect on their lives and make positive decisions for themselves and their whanau
