  • Provide high-quality midwifery care to patients in secondary and tertiary hospital environments, including rotations through antenatal, labour, and birthing suites, and postnatal wards.">
  • Work in primary maternity units and hubs located in urban, semi-urban, rural, and remote settings, providing comprehensive care to patients.">
  • Be part of an integrated system where primary, secondary, and tertiary services network and provide a safe childbearing journey.">

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual who has graduated with a Bachelor of Midwifery in 2024 or 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of communication skills and be able to build strong partnerships with women, pregnant people, and their whānau.

This role offers a comprehensive 12-month program with a flexible schedule of 32 hours (0.8FTE) per week. Successful applicants will begin their role anytime from December 2024 onwards and will receive ongoing support and development opportunities throughout their journey.
