About Ecolab's Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced, hands-on maintenance professional to join our team in Hamilton. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your role will be to plan, direct, conduct and deliver the maintenance engineering function at our production facility.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing effective maintenance service to plant operations and departments
  • Planning, implementing, and conducting maintenance of facilities to ensure uninterrupted and efficient production
  • Overseeing a small maintenance team, providing supervision, support and assistance

You'll Be Responsible for:
  • Managing maintenance activities to achieve optimal plant performance
  • Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to maintain relationships and manage projects
  • Assisting in the development of process changes to support manufacturing of new products

To Be Successful, You'll Need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a mechanical discipline – either degree or trade certificate
  • Several years' experience in a hands-on maintenance role in an industrial setting
  • Mechanical problem-solving skills with limited electrical qualification highly regarded
