Job Description

The Payroll/HRIS Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of payroll and HRIS processes for the Southern District.

This permanent, full-time position reports directly to the National Payroll Manager and leads a team of 14 dedicated payroll and reporting professionals.

  • Manage payroll and HRIS processes.
  • Lead and develop a team of payroll specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational, legislative and employment contract requirements.

  • An experienced Payroll & HRIS professional with a strong leadership background.
  • A proven ability to drive performance and foster a collaborative team culture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

Minimum Requirements

  • A relevant graduate and post-graduate qualification.
  • Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Related field e.g Accounting, HR or equivalent level of experience and knowledge.
