Job Description
We are seeking a passionate educator to join our team as a Session Facilitator, focused on empowering whanau and tamariki through child-led play and learning. This is a unique opportunity to work in a well-resourced centre, making a real difference in the lives of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Role model child-led play and positive guidance, inspiring our members and tamariki to explore and learn.
- Develop and implement inclusive and engaging activities that cater to diverse needs and interests.
- Foster strong relationships with whanau, supporting them in their educational journey and promoting a sense of belonging.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of child development, and a passion for empowering whanau and tamariki through child-led learning.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Te Whariki and its principles.
- Experience working with bilingual or multicultural communities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
