**About the Role:**

Ascend Consulting is seeking a motivated Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of marketing plans and strategies, assisting the Head of Marketing and Product Development in achieving key company targets.

You will be responsible for managing digital communication channels, aligning customer digital channels with current marketing collateral, images, and brand content. This will also involve assisting in the creation and execution of short, medium, and long-term marketing plans, as well as developing creative solutions and marketing assets across all marketing channels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the formulation of brand and marketing strategies consistent with division and Company goals and objectives.
  • Assist in the development of creative solutions and marketing assets across all marketing channels.
  • Implement and launch new products, providing full communications to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the activities of external agencies (Advertising, PR, Design, Social, Digital) to ensure that activity is consistent with marketing plans and sales team specific activations.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated or equivalent marketing experience.
  • Minimum 1-year B2B or B2C marketing experience.
  • A strong understanding of the food or manufacturing market landscape.
  • Digital marketing experience essential.
  • Experience of using e-mail communication platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Hubspot, or Zoho.
