**Job Summary:** We are seeking a Support Worker for Children to provide support to a diverse range of students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a primary school setting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children who have additional needs and be passionate about making a positive impact on their educational journey and overall wellbeing.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Offer personalised support to address the unique challenges of students with SEMH needs, whether related to behaviour, focus, academic work, or coping with social life.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualised learning plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that fosters the growth and development of every child.

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience working with children who have additional needs.
  • Able to follow EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) or other educational plans designed to cater to individual learning needs.
  • Patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to support students' diverse learning requirements.
  • Proactive and flexible approach, capable of adapting to various situations and challenges that may arise.
