We are currently seeking a Programming/Activity Assistant to join our team, who will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging activity programs that cater to individual resident needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma, bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and knowledge of aging and disability issues. A strong background in recreational activities and training in Alzheimer's and related dementias is also essential.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement activity programs that foster social interaction, creativity, and personal growth among residents.
  • FACILITATE VARIOUS ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING ONE-ON-ONE, SMALL GROUP, AND LARGE GROUP SESSIONS.
  • Provide support and encouragement to residents in their activity pursuits, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Collaborate with staff and management to ensure seamless program delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications
  • High school diploma, bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of aging and disability issues.
  • Strong background in recreational activities and training in Alzheimer's and related dementias.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
