About the role
As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions processed during the day, including cash, credit card, room charges, and chargeback payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of all transactions.
- Ensure all cash, credit card, room charges, and chargeback payments are correctly posted.
- Identify discrepancies between revenue and payments.
- Correct any errors made by cashiers.
- Maintain efficient auditing processes and ensure all cashier audits are correctly maintained.
- Complete thorough and accurate night audit reports, ensuring necessary documentation supports all accounting functions.
- Balance revenue totals of cash and credits against revenue reports.
- Provide feedback and suggestions on reducing mistakes and increasing productivity.
- Liaise with accounts to review and record necessary information daily.
