About the Role:

\

We are seeking a skilled Orthopaedic Specialist with a sub-specialty in Upper Limb to join our team at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes.

\

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on delivering high-quality care and an interest in education to support our trainee registrars and house officers.

\

As a Surgical Consultant, you will be based at Rotorua Hospital but may be required to travel to our Taupo facility to provide outpatient clinics. You will also be involved in providing Orthopaedic visiting outpatient clinics at Tokoroa on behalf of Health Waikato.

\

The theatre suite is well-equipped for supporting Orthopaedic elective work and acute trauma.

\

We offer a competitive salary range of $185,380 to $267,980 pro-rated to hours worked. Our benefits include free staff parking, flu vaccination, discounts with local businesses, and access to an Employee Assistance Program.
