Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of carpentry-related modules, including theoretical and practical components. This will involve creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

Key Requirements

To excel in this role, you'll require:

  • A minimum of National / NZ Certificate in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
  • A current LBP (Licenced Building Practitioner)
  • Significant industry experience, preferably with a focus on construction trades education
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
