Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary primary health care team. The successful candidate will need to be committed to achieving health equity and driving quality improvement to ensure better health outcomes for our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide whānau-centred, culturally appropriate, and individual holistic care to a defined population.
  • To work as part of a clinical team, ensuring whānau needs are met.
  • To make clear medical decisions and take ownership of these, following up on problems to ensure they are resolved.

Requirements

  • Registration as a Medical Practitioner in NZ with current APC.
  • Vocational registration or practical experience as a General Practitioner.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Flexible hours: 0.6 to 1.0 FTE.
