We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Leadership Professional to join our Resources Group as a Team Leader Finance. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, with a strong focus on mentoring and guiding your team, as well as the technical aspects of corporate financial accounting functions.

About the position

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to Council Controlled Organisations and collaborating with your Manager to maintain the integrity of the financial reporting system. You will also oversee the delivery of the Council's annual report, which includes assisting with technical projects and developing and maintaining training and professional growth programs for accounting staff.

This challenging yet rewarding role requires a tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance and membership in CAANZ (or equivalent). Previous experience in a senior finance position within a large complex organisation is essential. If you have a passion for numbers and are proficient in using computer-based accounting applications and financial management systems, we encourage you to apply.
