\We are proud to offer a unique and exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Resort Maintenance Specialist.
\At NZ Ski Limited, we have been growing since 1947 and continue to provide the best experience for our crew, locals, and guests alike. We pride ourselves on our awesome customer service, first-class facilities, majestic scenery, and wild terrain.
\The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that our base lodge facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest possible standards. This will involve emptying rubbish bins regularly, restocking bathrooms, and vacuuming inside.
\In addition, the Resort Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for cleaning of the public toilets and ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies like soap, toilet paper, and hand towels. They will also ensure that all staff office areas are clean and presentable by emptying rubbish bins and vacuuming.
\Other duties will include operating heavy machinery such as industrial vacuum cleaners and floor polishers, sorting recycling streams, and assisting other departments during busy periods.
\We are seeking self-motivated applicants with a proven commitment to working under pressure in a team environment and can provide 'service with friendliness.'
\The successful applicant will have previous experience in a caretaking role, be able to drive a manual vehicle, and have a valid driver's license. They will also have the ability to work in an alpine environment in a variety of weather conditions.
