About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Ranger Heritage and Visitors in the Kapiti Wellington Office.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a close-knit team responsible for maintaining visitor assets across the stunning Kāpiti Wellington District.

As a key member of our team, you will be involved in various aspects of conservation and maintenance, including site management, track maintenance, cycleway upkeep, and more.

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders, sharing your knowledge and expertise to achieve high-quality conservation outcomes.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about maintaining and improving recreation sites and facilities, has excellent communication skills, and can work independently in remote settings.

The successful candidate will possess relevant practical and technical skills, experience with machinery, and proficiency in computer packages such as SAP, GIS, and GPS.
