We are seeking a qualified and experienced educator to join our team as a Session Facilitator. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating child-led play, supporting our members and tamariki, and promoting a love of learning. You will work closely with our Centre whanau to develop and implement session plans, provide support and guidance to whanau, and contribute to the overall success of our centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate learning experiences that promote child-led play and positive guidance.
- Work alongside our Centre whanau to develop and implement session plans.
- Provide support and guidance to whanau as they explore their child's learning and development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Playcentre Course 3 qualification or higher or an Early Childhood qualification of Level 4 or higher.
- A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to achieve this.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with tamariki and adults.
- A passion for empowering and engaging with all whanau to feel a sense of belonging in our sessions.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and care, and is committed to making a difference in the lives of our tamariki and whanau. If you have a strong understanding of Te Whariki and are committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, that would be a bonus.
