Child Led Play Educator

We are seeking a passionate and motivated educator to join our centre in Whakatane. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Centre whanau to create a supportive environment for children, parents, and caregivers to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate child led play and guide activities to support learning and development.
- Mentor and support parents/caregivers in their exploration of Te Reo Maori and the Playcentre Education programme.
- Document and share tamariki achievements, developments, and learning through written stories.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to achieve this.
- Hold a Playcentre Course 3 qualification or higher or an Early Childhood qualification of Level 4 or higher.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with tamariki and adults.
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and knowledge of ECE regulations.
