Disability Care and Support Associate

IHC New Zealand is seeking a Disability Care and Support Associate to join our team. As a Support Associate, you will provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care and grooming.
  • Encourage participation in community activities and events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
