Job Description:

Salary:

$23.38 - $29.10 per hour, 17 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team. As a Community Support Worker, you will work closely with individuals with disabilities to provide personalized support and assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes and out in the community
  • Assist with daily activities such as personal care, domestic chores, and socializing
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and self-confidence
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., disability support, health, or social services)
  • At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferably in a supported independent living setting)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, commitment, and passion for working with people
